Duties & Responsibilities
- Driving articulated lorries in long-distance EU transport
- Securing loads in accordance with regulations; checking packaging/seals/documents
- Digital route management (telematics, app) and proper documentation
- Communication with dispatch/customer in German (basics) and simple English technical terms
- Vehicle maintenance within the specified time frame (wash/fuel card, interior care)
Tour structure & working time model
- Planning so that driving and rest times are used optimally without exceeding limits
- Multi-day tours with overnight stays
- Weekends at home as a rule; exceptions rare (weekends on the lorry only in exceptional cases)
Qualifications & Suitability
Must-haves
- CE driving licence, driver card, key number 95 (qualification)
- Experience in long-distance transport or a strong willingness to learn
- Reliability, diligence, polite manner with customers and colleagues
- Willingness to undergo project-related safety checks
Nice-to-have
- ADR certificate (basic) or willingness to undergo training
- Experience with radiation protection transport/ADR Class 7 (not essential, but an advantage)
- Basic technical understanding (crane appointments, safety equipment, container handling)
- Basic knowledge of English (loading and unloading, border formalities)
Security & Compliance
- Strict compliance with driving/rest times and all relevant regulations
- Project- and customer-specific safety and reliability checks
- Documentation requirements (tour data, freight documents, handover/sealing protocols)
- Internal training, annual refresher courses and audits
remuneration system
- Permanent contract starting immediately with a 6-month probationary period, starting salary in line with market conditions and above the statutory minimum
